Suggested volume is based on your vial's peptide amount and a clean U-100 draw. Adjust it to match your vial's instructions — the math updates live.

How the peptide reconstitution calculator works

This planner is for a vial of freeze-dried powder: the dry peptide in the vial before water has been added. Enter the total peptide amount printed on the vial, then enter the amount you want to convert. The calculator compares practical water-volume options, calculates the resulting concentration, and selects a setup with a clear U-100 syringe reading.

Water volume controls concentration. More water spreads the same peptide amount across more milliliters; less water makes the concentration higher. That concentration is what turns your target amount into mL and then into a U-100 mark. The suggested water volume is a math reference designed around clean, readable syringe units and the capacity you selected.

Use the result as a quick way to compare vial setups. The water volume, concentration, draw volume, and syringe mark are tied together, so changing either of your two inputs updates the whole calculation immediately.

concentration (mg/mL) = peptide amount (mg) ÷ suggested water volume (mL)

How to read your vial label

1. Total peptide amount

Look for the total amount printed on the vial, usually shown in mg. This is the amount of peptide in the dry vial before you add water. Enter that number in the first field. If your label uses mcg, remember that 1 mg equals 1,000 mcg before you enter the total.

2. Amount to convert

Enter the amount you want to see on the syringe scale. You can choose mg or mcg beside the field. The calculator converts this amount through the suggested concentration and gives you both the liquid volume and the matching U-100 mark.

3. U-100 syringe capacity

Choose the capacity printed on your U-100 syringe: 0.3 mL has 30 units, 0.5 mL has 50 units, and 1 mL has 100 units. Capacity sets the largest volume that can fit in one draw. The planner uses your selection when it ranks clean, readable unit marks.

mg → mL → U-100 units, step by step

Here is the full concentration path with simple numbers. A 10 mg vial mixed with 2 mL gives 5 mg/mL: 10 mg ÷ 2 mL = 5 mg/mL. If the amount to convert is 250 mcg, first express it as 0.25 mg. Then divide by concentration: 0.25 mg ÷ 5 mg/mL = 0.05 mL. On a U-100 syringe, 1 mL equals 100 units. Multiply the liquid volume by 100: 0.05 mL × 100 = 5 units. The same relationship drives every result on this page: vial mg becomes concentration, concentration becomes mL, and mL becomes a visible syringe mark.

Peptide Reconstitution Calculator FAQ

How much bacteriostatic water should I add to my peptide?

Enter your vial's peptide amount and target dose — the tool suggests a water volume that gives a clean U-100 draw, and the concentration and syringe mark update live. Treat it as a starting point and follow your vial's own instructions if it specifies a volume.

How do I calculate the concentration (mg/mL) after reconstitution?

Divide the peptide amount on the vial by the water volume used. A 10 mg vial mixed with 2 mL gives 5 mg/mL. Enter both in the calculator and it does the rest.

My vial is 10 mg — how many units is a dose?

It depends on the water volume and your target dose. Example: 10 mg in 2 mL = 5 mg/mL; a 250 mcg dose is 0.05 mL = 5 units on a U-100 syringe. Enter your own numbers for your exact mark.

How many units is 250 mcg on a U-100 syringe?

Convert the dose to mL by dividing by concentration, then multiply by 100. At 5 mg/mL (10 mg in 2 mL), 250 mcg = 5 units.

What if my peptide is already mixed?

This calculator is for dry vials that still need water. If water is already in your vial, use the Peptide Dosage Calculator to turn your concentration into syringe units.

Is this medical advice?

No. The tool does unit math and suggests a reconstitution volume; it does not choose a dose, schedule, product, or method of use. For research purposes only.
